Hey, I’m Vivian—but Viv works too.
My creative career started early, modeling at 13 before moving to Los Angeles at 18. LA is where I grew up, creatively and personally, and where I eventually traded the runway for the beautifully chaotic world of hospitality.
Years spent in restaurants gave me an education I never could have learned in a classroom: how people experience a brand, the importance of the smallest details, and how atmosphere, service, storytelling, food, and design all work together to create something memorable.
Along the way, photography brought me back behind the camera. My years in front of it gave me an instinct for styling, composition, movement, and making people feel comfortable enough to look like themselves—not a stiff version of themselves.
Later, while living in Austin, I moved into magazine operations and found my way deeper into branding, graphic design, advertising, client management, and digital marketing. It was the beginning of what I do today: helping brands figure out what makes them them and translating that into a presence people recognize and remember.
Today, I work across brand strategy, social media, digital marketing, photography, creative direction, content, websites, SEO, press, advertising, and reputation management—with a particular love for hospitality, lifestyle, and luxury brands.
After years in LA, Houston, DC, San Diego, Austin, and LA once more, my family and I now call Asheville home.
Outside of work, I’m usually in mom mode, somewhere in my garden, at the gym, rearranging something that probably didn’t need rearranging, or dreaming up my next creative idea. An introvert by nature, a storyteller by profession, and forever drawn to brands with a little soul.
